Rhonda Joyce (Wofford) Heflin was born in Colcord, Oklahoma on February 23, 1954. She passed from this life on Thursday, April 5, 2018 in Tulsa at the age of 64 years, 1 month and 13 days.

Rhonda graduated Daniel Webster High School in 1972 and received her Registered Nursing degree from Tulsa Junior College. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was known for her delicious cinnamon rolls and pecan pies. Rhonda also loved being out in nature, mowing her lawn and working in her flower gardens. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and was of the Baptist faith.

Her survivors include her husband of 41 years, Gary D. Heflin of Tulsa; daughters, Sarah and Natalie Heflin both of Tulsa; father, Paul C. Jackson of Tulsa; sisters, Shonna Weems and Paula Long and husband, Kenny all of Tulsa; brother, Eddie Jackson of Tulsa; and grandchildren, Seth Heflin, Gabriella Heflin and Izzy Heflin-Nicholson all of Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Faye (Hurt) Jackson and brother-in-law, William Allen “Speed” Weems.

A celebration of Rhonda’s life is scheduled for 2pm, Saturday, April 14, 2018 in the Heath Griffith Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Home, 1823 W. 51st St.

    Gary: I just found out about Rhonda's death. I am so sorry. She and I often laughed about all of our experiences together--Hillcrest, VNA, Sherwood, etc. She was loved and will be missed.
